It’s a lovely day here so I thought I’d stop into my neighborhood grocery store for something to throw on the grill. When I got to the checkout, the clerk said, “You look really pretty today.” What a nice thing to say and she was sincere! I never think of myself as “pretty” although I sometimes think I look cool or chic, but pretty never seems like a word I’d use to describe myself. It really brightened my day. Hmm, wonder if that comment has anything to do with the fact I’m not actually wearing black today?! Maybe waterolor florals are for me after all.
Next time you think someone looks nice, chic, pretty or whatever be sure and tell them. It made my day!
