Today Steve and I are taking a huge leap of faith. We’re signing the contract on our current house, then turning around and making an offer on the other house. All before Steve has a job. Yep, I do believe we’re crazy. Steve had a two-hour interview yesterday with a company in Branson and things are looking very promising. He will know on Tuesday if he has the job. So you’re probably wondering why in the world we’d take such a risk on the whole buying/selling thing without a job. Well, for starters, we have a contingency in the contract that the sale of our house is only final if we are approved for financing and our offer is accepted on the other house. Also, the buyers can only meet on the weekend because they live out of town. I guess we’re just hoping that everything will work out for all of us.
I’ll keep you posted on all the happenings. At least no one can accuse us of leading a boring life!
